Who we are

The answer
comes from
the floor.

When you call KOMT, you reach the engineer who specified the machine and the technician who installed it.

That's how we know the right answer to your fabrication challenge: not from a catalog, but from the floor. Our sales engineers and field service technicians are factory-trained on every line we represent — and they bring that knowledge directly to your shop.

"Ever have that lonely feeling when a machine isn't performing? KOMT's support personnel have all been factory trained to ensure you never feel alone."
— KOMT Service Commitment

Our support services are constantly being upgraded with people and tools to keep you at peak productivity. We understand just how important your customers are to your business — and to ours.

01

Sales Engineers

Deep product knowledge across 40+ lines. Your sales engineer matches your specific part requirements — material, geometry, tolerance, and volume — to the right machine and the right setup. Not a catalog rep. An engineer.

02

Field Service Technicians

8 full-time, factory-trained field engineers dispatched across Kansas, Oklahoma, and western Missouri. Each carries diagnostic tools and common spare parts on board to minimize your downtime from the first visit.

03

Applications Engineers

From a quick programming question to a complete turn-key manufacturing process — our applications engineers support your setup, programming, probing, and high-mix workflow from day one.

04

Parts Specialists

Dedicated parts specialists who locate, order, and ship OEM and alternative-source components quickly. When a part can't be found, KOMT's in-house team can often remanufacture it and get you back up fast.

Credentials & Affiliations

Nationally
certified.
Industry recognized.

Most of KOMT's sales engineers are Certified Manufacturing Technology Sales Engineers — a nationally recognized credential that validates essential skills and knowledge in manufacturing technology sales. It's not a participation certificate. It reflects years of applied expertise, tested and verified.

Culminating a wealth of expertise, our sales engineers collectively offer over 150 years of combined knowledge — and the depth of experience that only comes from spending careers on the same machines, with the same customers.

What drives us

The KOMT
standard.

01 / Knowledge

Factory-Certified
on Every Line

We don't just sell machines — we're certified on them. Every sales engineer and service technician is factory-trained on the lines we represent, so advice comes from direct experience, not a spec sheet.

02 / Response

When You're Down,
We Move

Machine downtime costs you money and costs your customer confidence. Our service team is built around speed: dispatched fast, equipped with parts, and trained to diagnose and fix on the first visit whenever possible.

03 / Continuity

Same Engineers.
Same Machines.

Many of our engineers have spent their entire careers at KOMT — on the same product lines, in the same shops. That continuity means institutional knowledge that no new hire or outside contractor can replicate.
